HistoryOver the last 30+ years, the company originally known as the Land Mobile Radio Division of GE has been sold several times. The names, and badges on the equipment, have included General Electric, Ericsson, Com-Net, M/A-Com, Tyco, and now (as of 2009) Harris.
Radio communications equipment was manufactured under these various brands over the years for a variety of proprietary radio systems such as EDACS and OpenSky, as well as for conventional systems.
